Description:
We’re looking for an experienced electrically-biased Production Engineer to join our team. Working on shift rotation, our engineers are responsible for maintaining the operational performance of all site machinery and plant whilst ensuring a safe working environment. As part of our Engineering team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring we meet business KPIs by reducing downtime and rejects, and maximising product efficiency and quality.
You will need to be self-disciplined and passionate about engineering, with a flexible attitude and a logical, hands-on approach. Strong team-working and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work shifts. Our minimum requirement is an ONC in electrical engineering or a recognised apprenticeship, with experience of carrying our defect and planned maintenance within a fast-paced production environment. Food production experience would also be an advantage.
In return we can offer a challenging role within our successful, growing business, a competitive salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to work within our friendly, highly-motivated team.
